Princess Charlotte and Prince George watched their parents go head-to-head in the King’s Cup regatta off the Isle of Wight on Thursday.
Grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton were on hand to help keep an eye on the children as they watched the race from a boat.
During the event the young princess made the crowd erupt with laughter when she stuck her tongue out as her mother the Duchess of Cambridge encouraged her to wave.
Charlotte wore a blue Ralph Lauren Seersucker Fit-and-Flare Dress (US$65).
The sleeveless frock features a blue seersucker stripe with contrasting club collar and a fit-and-flare silhouette with box pleated skirt.

On her feet were her Hampton Canvas 'Plum' Plimsolls in Navy.
