Princess Charlotte and Prince George stole the limelight as they served as pageboy and bridesmaid for their Uncle Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding.
The royal tots were two of 10 children in the bridal party.
Charlotte looked angelic in her pretty bridesmaid dress. Meghan commissioned her bridal dress designer Clare Waight Keller to also design the six young Bridesmaids’ dresses in the Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier in Paris. The dresses were created to have the same timeless purity as Meghan's dress. Each dress is sculpted in Ivory silk Radzimir, and is high-waisted with short puff sleeves and hand finished with a double silk ribbon detail tied at the back in a bow. The Bridesmaids’ dresses include pockets and pleated skirts to create a relaxed and luxurious silhouette.
The Bridesmaids wore white leather Aquazurra shoes; each pair monogrammed with the Bridesmaids initials, and the wedding date. The shoes were a gift from Ms. Markle to the young ladies as a keepsake of the special day.
The bridesmaids each had flower crowns selected by Prince Harry and Meghan, which have been designed by florist Philippa Craddock. The Bridesmaids' flowers replicated the flowers used in the bridal bouquet.
The four Pages wore a miniature version of the Blues and Royals frockcoat. The uniform draws its insignia from the Blues and Royals, which is an old Regiment of The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. Both were also wearing Blues and Royals frockcoats for the Wedding Day.
Charlotte appeared to enjoy the day.
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
Kensington Palace spoiled us today with a couple of official photos of Prince Louis. The first was a portrait of the little royal tot taken by his mother, The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April, 3 days after his birth.
The second photo shows the infant prince with big sister Charlotte in a photo taken on the princess' third birthday on 2nd May. The lovely images were accompanied by the following statement from proud patarents William and Kate:
The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.
Prince George did not feature in the photos however Princess Charlotte was in one of his hand-me-downs. Charlotte wore a navy cardigan as seen on George in the Queen’s 90th Birthday portrait taken by Annie Leibovitz in April 2016.
The piece is by Spanish brand, Fina Ejerique.
It's difficult to say for certain but it appears that Charlotte also wore a taupe corduroy pinafore dress and a collared liberty print top.
Tiegen from The Cambridges blog kindly let me know it may be an old season piece by Amaia Kids, while Found by Bojana suggests the Confiture ditsy floral blouse in blue.
