The Cambridge clan gathered with extended Royal family members today for the Queen's (Gan Gan) annual pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
The lunch was a private family affair but photographers managed to get some snaps of the guests as they entered the gates of the Palace. Princess Charlotte was spotted en route to the Palace in the back seat of her parents' Range Rover accompanied by Nanny Maria and Prince George.
The young princess wore a traditional liberty print dress with burgundy trim around the collar and a coordinating cardigan. The set looks very similar but not identical to the one she wore as the family was leaving Canada last year, and repeated on Christmas Day 2016.
It's highly likely the two dresses are by the same designer which still remains unknown. Today the frock was teamed with a burgundy 'Starfruit' cardigan by Amaia (£42.00).
A Princess Charlotte outfit would not be complete without a signature Amaia hair bow!

Kensington Palace released a new portrait of the Cambridge family this morning which will serve as their official 2017 Christmas card. The photo was taken by Chris Jackson at Kensington Palace earlier this year.
The family of four sported coordinated blue outfits for the photo. Charlotte wore the same ensemble for the Royal tour of Germany, when the family landed in Berlin.
It consists of a floral-printed frock (designer unknown), Dona Carmen Granate 'Mercedita Suela' shoes, white CondorPerle Socks with Openwork Cuff, and Amaia Kids Hair Bow.
