Kensington Palace spoiled us today with a series of photos of Prince George with his little sister Princess Charlotte taken by their proud mummy, the Duchess of Cambridge. Kate snapped the photos of her beautiful children at their country home, Anmer Hall. The Duchess is a passionate photographer, and we love this gesture of sharing her family with us. Princess Charlotte is wearing the Irulea knit sweater and ruffle-neck top - the matching pieces to her bonnet. Prince George is wearing: The photos were reportedly taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
Kensington Palace has announced that Princess Charlotte will be christened on Sunday, 5 July 2015. The service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and take place at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Charlotte's christening will be a private family event, however members of the public will be able to gather outside the church to see the family come & go.
The St Mary Magdalene parish is a very special choice for Charlotte's christening because it's also where Charlotte's late grandmother, Princess Diana was baptized in 1961. Other royals to have been christened at the church include the Queen's father, King George VI in 1896 & Princess Eugenie in 1990.
Princess Charlotte will soon be splashing around in puddles wearing an iconic pair of Hunter Wellington boots!
Prince William was gifted a pint sized pair of bright pink Hunter wellies for his baby daughter during the second day of the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, England, on Sunday. The thoughtful present was from Andre Konsbruck, the Director of Audi UK.
Designed for toddlers, the Original Kids' First Classic Wellington boots are from the Hunter Kids' collection and are specialised rain boots designed for growing feet.
The story of the Wellington boot begins in England in the early 19th century. The Duke of Wellington commissioned London shoemaker Hoby of St James to modify his military Hessian boots. These first boots, the Duke's namesake style, were made of leather, cut close to the calf and were designed as a fashion item.
Using many of the same techniques, today Hunter boots are handcrafted from waterproof rubber to produce the iconic design of the Original Boot. |
