It was an exciting day for Princess Charlotte and her older brother Prince George today as they arrived at St. Mary's Hospital with their dad to meet their new baby brother.
The young princess charmed the crowds with her adorable royal wave and her smocked blue floral dress, while Prince George looked pensive in his school uniform.
Princess Charlotte wore a Little Alice London 'Periwinkle' dress that cost ₤45 and was designed by an old school friend of the Duchess of Cambridge. The brand is owned by Alice Avenel, a friend of Kate Middleton's from Marlborough College. Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Pippa Middleton, attended Alice's wedding in 2012.
The short sleeved smocked dress with Peter Pan collar is made in a beautiful blue periwinkle fabric with blue daisy smocking. The piece is detailed with contrast piping on the collar and sleeves and finished with a button back and sash tie. The dress comes in a range of sizes from 6 months up to 6 years, but has unfortunately sold-out.
The adorable frock was teamed with a navy 'Rose' cardigan by Amaia Kids (£45). The Spanish made knit top is made from 100% cotton and features a square neck and mother of pearl button-fastening at the front.
The look was complemented with navy leather Mary Jane shoes and white Condor 'Perle' Socks with Openwork Cuff.
As one of my readers pointed out, these shoes seem to be the same ones her father wore in 1984 when he first met his baby brother, Harry, at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital.

I admit I melt away when I see this little Princess. When she walks, her feet seem to barely touch the ground. A real Q-T-Pie.

Such a beautiful family with their matching colors. The children are so cute with their individual personalities, everything seems perfect, absolutely perfect.

I think she’s wearing her fathers shoes from when he meet his own brother (Harry) in 1984
